Nude
pastel on paper
I am working on a new nude study. This picture doesn't get close to what it looks in person, I took it with my phone, I guess that's why.
I will post the picture again ones I finish it.
I am happy with this work, but I know I have to work a lot more..... specially in backgrounds and titles.
This works are just to improve my technique. I hope to bring more meaning works in a short future.
I'll post this on Ebay when done!

Nude study
Pastel on paper
16.5"x 9.5"
Here is another nude, I posted on ebay a week ago without  background, unfortunately there were no bids...
This week I am posting it again, this time I added some color to the background and I think  the image of the nude pop up a little more and it looks lighter than before too.
you can bid on this nude study on ebay. This auction starts at $24.99

Here is one more of my nude studies,
Nude Study
Pastel on paper
I am trying to find the right flesh tones for my nudes, I'm paying more attention to the cool shades.... for those shades I am using greens or purples, I like the way I got her blue eyes, but amazingly I only use black and gray and just a little touch of blue.
The only bad part is that I am still struggling with my backgrounds. well all-around  I am so happy with this one that I am not thinking about selling it yet.

"two sparrows"
 pastel on paper
7"x 10"
I just started this blog about a week ago, I hope I can spend more time uploading more of my charcoal drawings, pastel drawings and some oil paintings too.
I made this one with soft pastels.
I didn't title this one but I thought this of this one... "one side love"

"nude study"
pastel on paper
10"x 17"
I just finished this beautiful pastel nude, it is a 10"x 17" on sanded paper sennelier "La carte".
I always find very problematic choosing a good background. I guess this is the reason why I didn't drew background on this one,
I like the neutral color of the paper.
I am selling this study and some other on ebay. the started price for the auction is just $24.99. but I am sure it'll be sold higher than that.
I am confident with my work and I am always trying to improve.
not so much for money but because I want to know how good I can get.
I do my posts short because I need to get back to my drawing studies.

Last year sketches

charcoal on paper 18"x 24"
Three more sketches from las year,  they are from photography, I was not looking so much for likeness, I just wanted to keep myself moving.  My goal is to have likeness, speed and looseness. I don't want to be to attached to details.

They were made in around 20 minutes each with charcoal pencil and some help of a kneaded eraser on newsprint paper.
